THE LIVING SUTRAS OF THE HIERARCHY
Humankind has always searched for answers beyond the mundane but very real and tangible conundrums of day-to-day living. Is it therefore possible that the nature of these questions not only suggests but makes it very possible that inherently, there is more to us than meets the eye? Is it possible that we do innately, if ever so vaguely have a cellular memory of our true nature and destiny? If not, where then do these questions come from and why do we bother asking: Why do I exist? Is there any purpose to my existence other than the superficial albeit at times exciting goings-on of my daily life?
- Why is existence at times so difficult and downright depressing?
- Where do all the wars, rapes, murders, suicides and the violence and torture come from?
Are some people just evil and others not? Can a whole nation be evil? And will it ever change?
- What determines what I will be? Is it the luck of the draw, sheer determination, genetics or a bit of all of those? Is there such a thing as destiny?
- Is there more to me than flesh and bones? What is my true essence?
- And is this all? I am born, live my life as best I can and then I die?
- Do I or do I not have free will and how does it play itself out?
Are some things predetermined or at least unavoidable? - What is time? And how come time seems to be getting faster all the time?
- Why do we have religions, nations and different cultures and what do they do for us and to us?
- Is Buddhism or any other religion better than the religion I was brought up in?
- Do I have a Soul or is that just another myth? And if I do have one, what is It and what does It do?
- What is the human spirit and what is spirituality?
Are they a good or a bad thing and should I have more of it in my life?
‘The Living Sutras of the Hierarchy’ are based on a very simple but to most of us if not to all of humanity in its present state, a very challenging truth: that we are all equally the living Sons of God. Why challenging? Because the world we have created and live in and our daily lives do not reflect divinity. The religions that have been created certainly do not reflect divinity. Political parties, organisations and corporations fall way short of the mark, and our day-to-day existence if we are honest, most certainly does not perform to the expectations we all had when we set out to make a life for ourselves.
“Therefore, these sutras do not lead, transcend or take the reader anywhere.
When this is understood and thus claimed,
you will know that you are all of that which already lives Divinely within.
Therefore, the teachings are based on dissolving those hindrances
that abound our daily life, that is, the imposed belief systems, values and ideals,
which incarcerate mankind to not know what is already naturally living within” ~ SB
‘The Living Sutras of the Hierarchy' were originally released one by one at monthly or bi-monthly meetings hosted by Serge Benhayon, Universal Medicine in 2007 and 2008, and when these sutras were first presented, each one of them earthed truths and or revelations that are part and parcel of our divine origin that we all innately know about, but have given up on and chosen to forget and live in ignorance of.
If you ever wanted to find a document with everything that you ever truly wanted to know about what truly matters to you behind the façade of a rushed mundane and semi-automatic existence, here it is in just under 500 pages. Each of the 20 sutras is complete in itself, and if you but allow a single sutra, a single paragraph or sentence to truly touch that raw and lost and aching nerve inside of you, you will never – and in hindsight you will add, “fortunately” – be the same again.
